Role: Motion Graphics, Video Editing, Creative Direction Client: BitSoft LLC Purpose: Equity Crowdfunding Campaign (Wefunder)

The objective was to create a compelling introductory video for BitSoft LLC’s Wefunder campaign. The goal was to explain the company’s "Provably Fair" gaming technology to potential investors, breaking down complex backend concepts into an accessible visual format.

A major logistical hurdle for this project was the inability to film the CEO, Steven Swanson, on camera. We were limited to audio recordings of his voice script. To bridge this gap, I utilized AI-powered avatar technology can create a visual representation of the founder using a photo of the CEO. This allowed us to maintain a personal connection and "face" for the company without requiring a physical film shoot, solving a critical production bottleneck.

To support the narrative, I developed a suite of custom motion graphics designed to illustrate the functionality of the software.

Data Visualization: I created clean, tech-forward animations to explain how the "Player vs. Player" and "Hash/Seed" technologies work, turning abstract code concepts into understandable visuals.

Seamless Integration: These graphics were composited with carefully curated stock footage to create a cohesive narrative flow that felt high-budget and professional.

A conscious directorial decision was made regarding the visual tone. In the online gaming and casino industry, marketing materials are often saturated with imagery of cascading cash and "big wins." We identified this as a "scammy" trope that detracts from credibility.

Instead, I pivoted the visual language toward reliability, technology, and transparency. By avoiding imagery of money and gambling winnings, the video positions BitSoft not as a casino, but as a serious software infrastructure provider. This approach was calculated to appeal to sophisticated investors looking for business viability rather than emotional excitement.

Given the regulatory nature of equity crowdfunding and gaming software, the video required a persistent legal disclaimer. I designed the lower-third legal text to be strictly compliant and legible, yet unobtrusive. It remains anchored at the bottom of the screen, ensuring transparency without distracting from the primary visual storytelling.
