Born under the lunar eclipse, your path into the world was a ominous one. Your parents knew that you were to be someone special someday not that they'd ever tell you and inflate your ego before you had achieved anything of note.

Your mother was a retired soldier and veteran bowyer whereas your father never served in the military but as the town blacksmith interacted frequently with craftspeople like your mother and together they created some of the finest weapons ever to emerge from your quiet corner of the world.

Your beloved mother though a hard woman that taught you to fight also taught you compassion for your opponent and to see them for they really are not what other told you they were.

Your father on the other hand was a man of many talents beyond the forge and taught you to appreciate, wine, good food and the means to cook, not to mention how to dance in the less formal, country fashion.

As you approached your 18th year, the call of war and the decree of the king took you and many other young men from your home and thrust them into the wider world. The battles were long, bloody, and darkening to your young soul. You grew up quickly in the fog of war and emerged a savage combatant with a kind heart to those that had earned the right to dwell within it.

Once the war had ended and your service in the army with it, instead of returning home for good, you paid a visit but a call to adventure now boils within your blood. It drew you to the road and ever closer to those that would help shape your destiny.
