At the end of the 23rd century, humanity made its oldest dream come true, to touch the stars and see if we are alone after all.

The short answer. We are not and we were not invited.

An interplanetary alien force the likes of which we never could have comprehended. Nicknamed "The Followers" by the survivors of what would be our greatest tragedy, these aliens upon learning of our existence proceeded to destroy our deep space vessels that made initial contact and then came back to our home planet of Earth and annihilate almost all trace of our existence and left without the need for colonization or resource mining, they simply killed all humanity and moved on without a reason given or any that could be inferred.

Some fifty years after that event, the descendants of those that survived, now journey outward from a ruined Earth in search of "The Followers" themselves or allies that could help in defeating them, bringing a sense of justice to the remnant of humankind.

What will they find? How will they survive? Will they be victorious in the War of Earthfall?
