Kickfurther is a groundbreaking company that has established itself as the world's first inventory crowdfunding platform. By allowing individuals to support the growth of brands they love, Kickfurther has created a unique space where businesses and supporters can connect and thrive.

However, as the platform grew, so did the complexity of its onboarding process. Kickfurther recognized the need to streamline this process, ensuring that new businesses could easily sign up and create campaigns. They sought a solution that would not only simplify the onboarding process but also enhance the user experience.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was to design a user-friendly onboarding process that could effectively communicate various aspects to new businesses, such as campaign progress, security protocols, next steps, and more. The goal was to create a clickable HTML/CSS prototype, complete with system components, that Kickfurther's development team could integrate into their existing codebase.

Approach

Understanding the Problem: We began by thoroughly analyzing the existing onboarding process, identifying areas that needed improvement, and understanding the unique needs of Kickfurther's user base. • User Flow Chart: A diagram showing the old user flow to illustrate the complexity.
Designing the UI/UX: Leveraging our expertise in product design, we crafted a user interface that was intuitive and visually appealing. We focused on key components like form groups, navigation, progress trackers and more.
Front-End Development: Using Vue.js, we developed static front-end components with interactive elements. This allowed us to create a dynamic and responsive design that could be easily integrated by Kickfurther's development team.
Client Collaboration: Regular client demos and reviews ensured that we were aligned with Kickfurther's vision and expectations. Feedback was incorporated throughout the process, leading to a refined final product ready for integration.

The Result

We successfully delivered a comprehensive onboarding process that not only met Kickfurther's requirements but also enhanced the overall user experience. The static front-end, powered by Vue.js, provided a flexible and robust solution that Kickfurther's development team could wire up to their databases.
The new onboarding process effectively communicates all necessary information to new businesses, guiding them through each step with ease. It has not only simplified the process but also instilled confidence in users by proactively answering questions and relaying site security for sensitive information.
