As part of a university class project, a comprehensive UX case study was conducted on the Trenitalia vending machine. The study included detailed audits, ethnographic research, and usability tests to identify strengths and weaknesses, offering valuable insights into user behaviors. From these findings, strategic improvements were proposed and validated through the creation of an Arduino prototype. This case study demonstrates a thorough analysis, strategic planning, and practical testing, contributing to a holistic understanding of UX design in real-world applications.
