Firstly, it is essential to have a clear understanding of the app's purpose and functionality. This involves brainstorming and defining the core features the app has to offer. Once the goals are established, the next step is to create rough sketches or wireframes to visualize the app's layout and structure. These initial designs act as a blueprint for the app's screens and navigation flow. Afterwards, attention is given to the visual aspects of the app. This, being my first design, was oversimplified by me since I was unaware of the process undergone while designing an interface.

I searched dribbble for some design influence and worked with the few I found. The next phase involves refining the design based on feedback. I got feedback from my colleagues and added a few features like the border changing colors when the absent-count limit is exceeded. Overall, I was looking for a grounded approach to record keeping that will also be developement-friendly. The design process for the app involved understanding the app's purpose, creating initial sketches and refining the design to bring the design to life.
