I designed and built the

I designed and built the website for Winnipeg Telecom, an owner-operated IT and telecom contractor serving businesses across Winnipeg and Manitoba. The company needed a professional online presence that would show its range of services and turn local searches into quote requests.

The challenge: The business offers many technical services, including structured cabling, network setup, CCTV, Starlink installation, POS systems and digital signage. It needed a site that explains all of them clearly, builds trust with business owners, and makes it easy to get in touch.

What I built:

A responsive WordPress website with a hero slider that highlights the core service lines: cabling and networking, CCTV, Starlink and POS.

Dedicated pages for each service (Structured Cabling, CCTV, Starlink Installation, POS Systems, Digital Signage and Network Setup), so each one can rank for its own search terms.

Trust-building sections: About Us, years of experience, completed-project stats, “Why Choose Us” (local expertise, on-time installs, licensed and insured) and an FAQ.

A “Get Free Quote” form with a service-type selector, a click-to-call emergency number and a floating WhatsApp contact button.

On-page SEO focused on local search, including optimized titles, meta descriptions and social sharing previews for Winnipeg and Manitoba.

Clean navigation (Home, About, Services, Portfolio, Contact) with links to the company’s Facebook and Instagram.

Result: A fast, mobile-friendly site that presents the company as a credible local contractor and gives customers a clear path to request a quote or call.
