Lyra Health, an online-focused therapy provider, and their production partner, Most West, needed an art director, designer and illustrator to help produce an ongoing video series. This series aimed to illustrate therapeutic concepts while guiding users on their mental health journeys. It features a consistent cast of relatable and diverse characters, each facing life’s many challenges with the aid of a Lyra Health provider. Throughout the process, I collaborated with the team on how best to illustrate therapy concepts through visual metaphors, empathetic story-telling, and handled all aspects of the illustration process, from art direction, character designs, storyboarding and final artwork, which was then handed off an animator.
