Leslee D’Ausilio, celebrity and TV guest commentator, will speak Saturday night at the Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting located at the Grand Ballroom of the Downtown Hilton Hotel.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an open bar followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. D’Ausilio’s speech, with the topic “Today’s Workers, Workweeks and Productivity,” will begin at 8:30 p.m.

D’Ausilio is the author of three best-selling books about American workers’ jobs, characteristics and issues. She received both her bachelor’s and master’s in sociology from the University of Wisconsin. She also received a Ph.D. from Harvard where she majored in management with a specialty in labor relations.

Formerly the Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Clinton administration, D’Ausilio currently teaches at Harvard and serves for the UAW-CIO.

Tickets for the dinner and speech are $39 for members and their guests and $49 for nonmembers. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce office until Saturday at noon.
