How to Preserve your Mental Peace and Live a Healthy & Successful Life

1. DO NOT FEAR THE THOUGHTS OF OTHER PEOPLE

Guess what? Whether your actions were embarrassing or incredibly outstanding, people don't really care about what you do or care less than you think they do. And no, just because you put on a "great" show doesn't mean they'll think about you all day or all week.
So instead of letting your fear of ridicule or mockery prevent you from using your amazing talents and abilities, gather your courage instead because, at the end of the day, everyone is too preoccupied with their own affairs and self-interests for you to dominate their thoughts.
Nobody cares more about your life than you do, so don't just sit back and let others prosper while you fail. Because, I assure you, people will always be somehow selfish.

2. DON'T WAIT FOR AN OPPORTUNITY, MAKE IT

Life is too short to leave yourself down in the dumps just because you believe that good miracle doesn't align to your fate. Honey, get up because waiting for an opportunity is a waste of time, it could take a lifetime or less for it to manifest for you.
Be wise and find a route to your success rather than always kicking up a fuss for the reason that you frequently end up with a terrible timing. If you're simply dedicated enough to look for it, there will always be a solution to everything, as they say, and I quote, "If there's a will, there's a way."
Opportunities are not sought after, they are made. Not everyone will be lucky, and if you are not, it's time to stand up and make things work yourself.

3. ALWAYS BE NEUTRAL, MAKE NO ENEMIES

When people fight, remember to listen to both sides of the argument because everyone has their own story, including you. Start looking at things impartially to observe how much more tranquil your life becomes.
Moreover, make everyone your ally rather than viewing them as competition. Maintain your composure and refrain from establishing bad terms with anyone because doing so will only lead to irrational rage and unnecessary annoyance. Instead, act like the mature adult you are.
Making enemies is a waste of time and an impediment to your aims; the less enemies you have, the more likely it is that your goals will be achieved with greater ease and peace than you could have anticipated.

4. DO A POSITIVE SELF TALK FROM TIME TO TIME

According to research, rewarding yourself with positive affirmations can reduce the risk of you developing any forms of mental issues such as depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. Positive self talk is indeed more salient and beneficial than you think; not only does it help enhance your mindfulness and communication, it also boosts your self-confidence and better your self control.
Don't just allow yourself to be absorbed by all that dark negativity and instead, attempt to live with positive ideas and healthy motivation. Making positive self talking your pastime for your everyday life has many advantages.

5. FAKE YOUR CONFIDENCE UNTIL YOU MAKE IT

A very important and enormous aspect of life is confidence. Being self-assured is not only nourishing but also highly productive; it enables you to seize many possibilities in life and establish connection to sound judgment.
However, some people like to feign confidence while still accomplishing great things. That's because confidence is not something that you can easily put on. If you are capable to simulate confidence, then you have just what it takes to grow it.
So, if necessary, don't be scared to pretend confidence. Why not if you can, right? Better to fake your confidence than doing absolutely nothing at all. It will eventually become a part of you until you are finally beaming with confidence. It's okay to fake it 'till you make it, so try.

6. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH HEALTHY PEOPLE

Keeping a healthy body and mind is just as important as choosing the people that you want to be with. Your efforts in preserving your mental tranquility and stability are no use if you still choose to be around people who feeds on their toxic pessimism and unhealthy lifestyle.
It's better to hang out with people who supports your healthy way of life and contributes positivity to your life, people who are mature and responsible enough to know how to handle their life properly instead of negative individuals who are always up to no good.
Nobody says this enough but your friends create a huge impact in your life. Other than your family, your friends are one of the people who has the power to strongly influence you so make sure that the friends you chose are people that you can totally depend on.

7. TAKE REGULAR EXERCISES

One of the most crucial things to do to maintain your physical and mental health is engaging in regular physical activity. It has several wonderful advantages, including improved daily performance, better brain function, and memory support.
Exercise can also lower your risk of developing depression and anxiety. More than you might imagine, moving your body regularly will pay off in terms of increased drive and energy for daily tasks.
Be aware that your body needs to move, therefore give it permission. Please don't be inefficient; even a 5-minute stretch will suffice.

8. GET TO KNOW YOURSELF MORE

The secret to self-improvement is self-awareness! Make sure you are aware of your own negative and positive behaviors and that you are aware of how to correct them before you ever decide to begin a self-development plan.
Knowing yourself is important because it enables you to recognize your worth, express yourself more clearly and freely, and helps you learn to embrace who you are. People today are so self-oblivious that they often fail to see their own transgressions or errors, and perhaps because of their self-ignorance, they are unaware that they are this particular type of person.
Being conscious of your actions and knowing exactly how to manage yourself in specific situations are both benefits of knowing yourself. Knowing yourself better than anyone else is the best thing you can do.

9. KNOW YOUR PRIORITIES

Partying and all the other fun can wait; when you know how to prioritize your work and set boundaries, it makes you even more desirable. Before allowing yourself to indulge in a slumber of tranquility or an entertaining leisure, you should always finish your tasks first.
We're not saying you should choose to prioritize your goals or profession over love and the things you enjoy doing, because that is entirely up to you; however, establishing your priorities and learning how to attain them are really important.

10. ALWAYS REFLECT ON YOUR ACTIONS

Dedicating time each day to reflect on one's actions and think about them is another essential to improving oneself. When you want to grow as a person, keeping a record of your reflections on your achievements thus far will help you monitor your growth.
Furthermore, reflecting will help you enhance your skills instead of just doing the same thing over and over when you could be better as it also enables you to assess their potency. Not only that but it makes your experience more productive as well.
You can discover strengths and flaws you may not have been aware of by reflecting on your actions. In conclusion, self-awareness is crucial since it will eventually result in self-efficacy and greater achievement.
