Modular Synthesizer Panel Design

Synthesizer Module Designs

Role: Lead Product Designer
As the lead designer on multiple modular synthesizer projects, I created panel layouts that merge form and function—prioritizing clarity, tactile usability, and visual harmony. Each module was designed to support creative flow for musicians, while staying within strict technical and manufacturing constraints.
Working closely with engineers and musicians, I developed design systems that ensured consistency across modules while allowing each one to reflect its unique function. From control spacing and labeling to typographic hierarchy and symbolic logic, every element was chosen to be both immediately readable and musically inspiring.
Key contributions:
Panel layout design for multiple Eurorack-format modules
Balance of usability and aesthetics for live performance and studio use
Visual systems that scale across a full line of instruments
Collaboration with hardware engineers to meet tolerances and standards
Brand-aligned graphics with clean, modern modular sensibility
This work reflects my belief that musical tools should be not just functional—but intuitive, beautiful, and a joy to use.
