Plastic Oceans was established in 2016 as a non-profit organization and a registered Canadian charity. The campaign envisions a Canada without plastic pollution. Plastic Oceans Canada’s mission is to end the ocean plastic crisis through programs in education, advocacy, science, beach cleanups, awareness campaigns, and other events that motivate participants to rethink plastic.​​​​​​​
The brand image is strong, modern, professional and effective If we look at the brand description of the colours, logo and font, blue represents a bright vision to solve the solution & green describes a natural and cleaner environment. All of these felt like locally to inspire change globally and foster sustainable communities worldwide.

My idea is to communicate with people to become more aware of the problem and help our organization Plastic Oceans Canada to solve the plastic pollution problem. I'm thinking of ways to communicate to the audience to be positive and useful emotional design because I want my design to feel respectful, acknowledge the issue, and be helpful to support our campaign.
The people who will participate in our organization will be educated, change consumer behaviour, be self-aware, donate and take action to end plastic pollution. Plastic Oceans Canada is one of them is trying to solve that through direct action and education centred around the communities. Only 10% of the world’s plastic produced is being recycled, something more needs to be done. Those who take action through cleaning up our shorelines, but the unfortunate part is that much of what is collected ends up in landfills again, which inevitably makes its way back into our environment. We need to continue to step up our action again by promoting motivation to target our audience for future generation.
Plastic Oceans Canada has a strong brand name, a strong community presence arising from its different locations and prides itself on a high success rate. Capitalizing on these strengths, the campaign would focus on making sure that current trends in protecting the environment are highlighted specifically in ending the plastic crisis that is negatively affecting our planet. These would include stronger social media presence in platforms such Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat and all other social media platforms. The campaign would evoke support from people of all ages. Powerful messages and eye-catching images would dominate the campaign so that people will be enticed to read, understand and acknowledge the true magnitude of the issue we are faced with.
