Client: DOTS presentations Role: Redesign and develop the website inside framer Timeline: 2 months

About the Client:

Dots Presentations is a professional presentation design agency that helps businesses, startups, and Fortune 50 companies communicate their ideas through high-impact slides. Their portfolio spans presentation design, pitch decks, templates, and document design — serving global brands like Google, Marriott, Uber, Coca-Cola, and more.

The Problem:

An Outdated Digital Presence Hurting Credibility
Dots Presentations had built a strong reputation delivering world-class presentation design — yet their own website told a different story. The existing site felt dated, lacked visual energy, and failed to reflect the premium quality of their work. For a company whose entire value proposition is visual communication, this was a critical disconnect.
Key Pain Points Identified:
Outdated Visual Design
No Animations or Interactivity
Limited Content Management
Weak First Impression
Old version

Project Goals:

Redesign the website to match the premium, creative quality that Dots delivers to its own clients.
Implement Framer's CMS to allow the team to independently update portfolio work, blog content, and services.
Leverage Framer's animation capabilities to create a dynamic, engaging experience that reflects the brand's storytelling expertise
Restructure the site architecture and messaging to better guide visitors toward getting in touch.

Process:

The project kicked off with a discovery call to align on goals, audience, and vision. From there, I set up a dedicated Notion workspace that served as a client portal throughout the entire project — the client could track progress in real time, leave comments directly on deliverables, and check off milestones as we moved forward. This kept communication tight and eliminated back-and-forth over email.
Before touching any design tool, I put together a moodboard exploring three distinct design styles — each with its own personality, color direction, and typographic feel.
This gave the client a clear visual choice early on and made sure we were aligned before committing to a direction. Once the style was locked, I moved into wireframes to map out the full site structure and content hierarchy. High-fidelity design and development followed directly in Framer, building reusable components, CMS collections, and animations.
Revision rounds were handled through the Notion portal, with the client commenting on and approving each milestone directly. The final stage covered performance optimization, SEO setup, and mobile QA before going live.

The Core Transformation:

The redesign shifted Dots Presentations from a standard agency website to a bold, experience-driven platform that immediately communicates the quality and creativity clients can expect. The site now serves as its own best portfolio and feels like DOTS.
Hot Takeaway:
After finishing the first prototype, I was so happy with results.. Wonderful desing, polished site, solid structre and typography.. and when I showed it to Mahmoud I was shocked!!

"It's not us. It's not Dots." said he

and tbh, he was right.
A presentation design agency's website should feel like a presentation itself — bold, purposeful, every element earning its place. That version didn't have that. So I started over from scratch.
It was tiring. But it taught me something I won't forget: a pretty design that doesn't reflect the brand's identity is just decoration. The goal isn't to impress yourself, it's to build something the client can look at and say "that's us."
The second version was different. I designed it the way Dots thinks about slides — with intention, hierarchy, and visual storytelling baked into every section. Now when you scroll through the site, you don't just see a web agency. You feel a presentation design agency.
