People with disabilities face significant barriers to full participation in society, including the design of the built environment, digital platforms, and other products and services. However, by encouraging greater inclusion, accessibility, and empathy for people with disabilities, accessible design can help bridge the gap. The purpose of this research paper was to explore the concept of accessible design and its importance in promoting greater inclusion, accessibility, and empathy toward people with disabilities.
