Putroshi is a local pet shop rooted in everyday care, trust, and human connection. More than a retail space, the shop wants to function as a meeting point for pet owners who value advice, familiarity, and a sense of belonging. The branding project aimed to translate this community spirit into a clear and authentic visual identity—one that feels real, approachable, and lived-in rather than overly polished or trend-driven.
The focus was not only on how the brand looks, but on how it works in daily life. The identity needed to support frequent communication, evolving content, and hands-on use by the shop’s staff, while still maintaining a consistent and recognizable presence across touchpoints.
Logo Concept & Construction :
The Putroshi logo was designed as a symbol of connection, care, and community. Rather than relying on literal pet imagery, the mark is built from the brand initial “P”, subtly transformed into an abstract symbol that represents paws and interaction. This abstraction allows the logo to feel thoughtful and intentional, while remaining playful and emotionally resonant.
The curved forms echo the softness of animal paws, while the mirrored structure suggests a paw-shake—a visual metaphor for trust, companionship, and the bond between pets, owners, and the shop itself. This idea reinforces Putroshi’s role as a welcoming, familiar space within the community, not just a place of transaction.
By keeping the logo minimal and geometric, it remains highly versatile. It works equally well as a standalone icon, a pattern element, or alongside the wordmark—making it easy to integrate into templates, packaging, signage, and digital content.
Challenge:
The client needed a brand identity that felt genuine and approachable, without relying on short-lived design trends. At the same time, the system had to be easy to manage internally. The shop staff needed the ability to create content independently—such as social media posts, promotions, and in-store communication—without losing visual consistency.
The main challenge was balancing authenticity with structure. The client wanted a design that reflected the warm, local character of the shop, without appearing generic or visually inconsistent over time. At the same time, Putroshi needed a system that could be used internally—by staff members without a design background—on a daily basis.
This meant avoiding one-off designs and instead creating a visual language that could adapt to promotions, announcements, social media posts, and in-store materials. The brand had to feel flexible yet cohesive, simple yet intentional, and capable of growing alongside the shop and its community.
Solution:
The solution was a modular, template-based design system built around usability and honesty. Rather than relying on complex visuals, the identity is structured through reusable layouts, clear typographic hierarchy, and a restrained color palette that feels warm and trustworthy.
These templates act as practical tools, allowing the Putroshi team to create new content easily while preserving visual consistency. By focusing on clarity and repetition, the system strengthens brand recognition and reduces friction in everyday communication.
Visually, the design avoids excess decoration in favor of clean compositions and subtle details inspired by real interactions in the shop. This approach reinforces the brand’s authenticity, making the identity feel natural and human—just like the community it represents.
Outcome
The result is a cohesive and practical brand identity that grows with the shop. Putroshi now has a visual system that supports community building, encourages interaction, and makes everyday communication effortless. The brand feels familiar, reliable, and real—strengthening its relationship with pet owners while remaining easy to maintain internally.
When design is built on empathy and structure, brands move from selling products to building trust.
