MÈSI Lagos Website Design

MÈSI Lagos needed a digital experience that reflected the character of its restaurant while making essential information easy to discover. I designed a refined website that brings together the restaurant’s identity, menu, story and reservation experience into one cohesive interface.

The design focuses on visual hierarchy, spacious layouts and intentional typography to create an experience that feels elevated while remaining clear and easy to navigate.

I structured the website around three key experiences: Home, About and Reservation. Each page has a distinct purpose while maintaining the same visual language, creating a consistent journey from discovering the restaurant to learning more about it and taking the next step toward a visit.

The navigation and content structure were kept straightforward so visitors can move between the main sections without unnecessary friction.

The menu experience was designed to make MÈSI’s offerings easy to explore while keeping the presentation aligned with the restaurant’s overall visual direction. I used clear hierarchy, spacing and typography to separate information and make the content feel considered rather than overwhelming.

The section gives the menu its own visual presence while still feeling like a natural part of the wider website experience.

The About page gives MÈSI space to communicate more of its identity and story beyond the menu. I approached the page as a visual storytelling experience, combining structured content with imagery to create a stronger sense of place and personality.

The layout maintains the same refined visual language as the Home page while allowing the content to breathe and unfold naturally as visitors move through the page.

The Reservation page was designed as a focused destination for guests ready to take the next step. Rather than introducing unnecessary complexity, the page keeps the experience visually consistent with the rest of the website while giving the reservation journey a clear point of focus.

The result is a dedicated page that connects the visual experience of the website with the practical goal of planning a visit.

The website was adapted across desktop, tablet and mobile breakpoints while maintaining the same visual hierarchy and overall design direction. Layouts, spacing and content relationships were adjusted for each screen size so the experience remains clear and balanced across devices.

The responsive approach ensures that the MÈSI experience doesn't lose its character as the screen becomes smaller.
