TacTic - A Modern Twist on a Classic

TacTic was an experiment to elevate a childhood classic with a modern touch. TicTacToe was my go-to game with my brother or sister to pass every Sunday morning half listening to a preacher rant about something or other. There's always so many cool redesigns of classic games in museum shops and thought I'd try to make a version for myself.

I started with some designs in Figma. I wanted to go for minimal with some bright pops of primary colors to tie back into the childhood game. For the pieces, I used Blender then textured everything in Substance Painter and combined it all in After Effects after. Then with an assist from ChatGPT for the name.
