Pink House Alchemy: Shopify Migration + Odoo Upgrade

A store migration has to carry the business rules along with the products.
Pink House Alchemy sells botanical syrups, bitters, and shrubs through a retail store and a separate wholesale portal. I worked on moving the retail store from Squarespace to Shopify and adapting the wholesale customizations from Odoo 17 to Odoo 19.

Move the catalog in inspectable steps

I customized Flow, the commercial Shopify theme by Eight Themes, for Pink House Alchemy. My work sits on that existing theme, including recipe search and the storefront's product-data workflows.
For the migration, I built tooling to carry products and variants into Shopify with their SKUs, weights, images, and publication state. A dry run shows the proposed import. A single-product option lets me inspect one item before applying the process more broadly.
Old links also need a destination after a move. I added redirect tooling for the previous product, category, and recipe URLs, with checks against their expected destinations.

Make product-data edits reviewable

Nutrition information has its own update workflow. The team can edit a CSV, preview the changes, and sync approved values into Shopify's product fields.
A blank cell means the value is unknown. It does not erase a value already stored in Shopify. That distinction matters when a spreadsheet contains a mixture of corrections and information still being gathered.

Carry the wholesale rules into the upgrade

The Odoo portal has a specific checkout rule: the combined quantity of eligible products must be a multiple of six. Exception items are excluded from that count.
Three eligible units of one product and three of another meet the rule. An exception item does not change the eligible count. The cart has to show the right warning as quantities change and block checkout when the rule is not met.
Working from the existing ERPGap module, I adapted the cart and checkout customizations to Odoo 19's APIs. I added unit and browser regression coverage for the quantity rule and the handoff from the Shopify store to the wholesale portal.
The upgrade work also included keeping a CRM sidebar customization confined to the CRM pipeline, repairing customized product views so stock information had a place to render, and fixing a stale cart-recovery email template. The product-view repair adds the missing structure and can run again without duplicating it.
The retail storefront is live on Shopify. The Odoo work includes an adapted custom module and regression coverage for the ordering rules and store handoff.

Bring the migration that needs an owner

If you're moving a store or upgrading an ERP, I can take on the migration work around the catalog, customizations, and checkout rules your team already uses. Start with the systems involved and the behavior that needs to carry through the change.
