NEVER FORGET: 20th OCTOBER, 2020

I was heartbroken by the events of the October 2020 massacre at the Lekki toll Gate in Lagos, Nigeria. This was all because the Nigerian Youths were fed up of being harassed and molested by the police force and their special anti-robbery Unit SARS that was established for their protection. Till today we have no answers to our questions, the most pressing which is "who ordered the killings?" despite so many investigations that have been carried out.

I created this piece to commemorate the loss of innocent lives that day and as a gesture of solidarity that we will never forget the brave souls who stood their ground for justice and fought for what they believed in.
