Property management System with Bubble.io

Project Goal:

The objective was to create a system that allows tenants to report issues in their properties easily. The software would guide tenants through solving the problem, and if further assistance from the property manager was needed, it would generate and report a ticket. The property manager would then have access to a backend system where they could view all the details and resolve the issues. The existing solution in this space was outdated and visually unappealing. My task was to develop a superior and more user-friendly solution.







The first stage of the project involved designing the user experience in Figma. I created the flow for tenants to report problems and the dashboard and backend interface for property managers to resolve issues. Once the design was approved, I began developing the software using Bubble. Given the complexity of the project, I utilized most of Bubble's features, including the API connector, plugins, backend workflows, and privacy rules.



To manage hosting costs, I optimized the workflows in Bubble to minimize the number of work units used. The project required several external integrations, including Stripe for payments, OpenAI for interpreting issues, PDF generators, and SendGrid for emails.



A key aspect of the project was incorporating Xano. We migrated a significant portion of the backend to Xano to reduce hosting expenses and enhance scalability in the long term. Additionally, I leveraged my web development expertise to build the marketing front end of the project. I created all graphics, wrote the copy, and developed and deployed the site using Duda.
