for months, i kept noticing the same pattern
every time someone asked me for my “portfolio,” i’d end up sending either my linkedin or a pdf resume. neither felt right.
linkedin is cluttered with irrelevant stuff. resumes are rigid, one-dimensional, and too formal. and setting up a portfolio site? hours of editing, templates, hosting, and still not feeling like you.
so i built ProfilePress.
it started as a quick weekend project — i exported my own linkedin profile as a pdf, thought “what if i could just convert this into a website automatically?”
a few late nights later, i had a version where you upload your linkedin pdf, pick a template, edit details, and publish a clean portfolio with your own shareable link.
