Project Summary: Website Redesign for PapStore

Overview:

I had the opportunity to redesign the PapStore website, focusing on improving user experience, modernizing the interface, and enhancing usability for its target audience. The project aimed to create a more intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly website that aligns with the brand's goals and better serves its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

UI/UX Strategy & Planning:
Worked closely with PapStore’s stakeholders to understand business objectives and user needs. This helped define the project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Developed a UI/UX strategy to guide the design decisions and ensure that the website redesign would meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Wireframing & Prototyping:
Designed low-fidelity wireframes to map out the structure and layout of the website, ensuring an efficient user flow.
Created interactive prototypes using Figma to simulate the website’s functionality, making it easier to test and refine design concepts.
User Journey Mapping:
Developed a user journey map to identify and visualize the paths users would take through the website, allowing for better navigation and decision-making.
Analyzed user behavior and integrated insights into the design to make the browsing experience smoother and more intuitive.
User Persona Creation:
Created detailed user personas based on target audience research. This helped to ensure the design would appeal to PapStore’s diverse customer base, understanding their pain points, needs, and goals.
UI Design in Figma:
Delivered high-fidelity UI designs that emphasized clean, modern aesthetics and a mobile-first approach to ensure a responsive design. Integrated interactive elements and consistent visual patterns for improved user engagement.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Participated in regular feedback sessions with stakeholders to ensure the design aligned with PapStore's business goals. Incorporated feedback into the final designs, ensuring both client satisfaction and improved usability.
Task Management:
Managed the design project using Trello, keeping track of design milestones, deadlines, and tasks to ensure the project was completed on time and within scope.

Outcome:

The website redesign for PapStore successfully enhanced user engagement and improved the overall shopping experience. The new design boasts a more modern, intuitive, and visually appealing interface, helping customers navigate products easily. The website is now more responsive, optimized for mobile devices, and aligns better with the brand’s image, which has led to positive feedback and increased site traffic.
