AI Video Ad Series, Character Led Hook Campaign

An experimental ad campaign exploring how character driven hooks can change the way a message lands. Each video uses a different persona, a fortune teller, a marketing guy, a caveman, a conspiracy theorist, to open the ad, turning a single product message into multiple narrative entry points for different audience moods and scroll behaviors.
Short form video lives or dies in the first three seconds. Instead of A/B testing copy alone, I built the campaign around character archetypes, each one a recognizable, slightly exaggerated persona that signals tone before a single product detail is shown. The fortune teller leans into mystery, the marketing guy into self-aware satire, the caveman into primal simplicity, the conspiracy theorist into pattern finding intrigue. Same product, same core message, four very different doorways in.
My Role: Concept and hook strategy across the series. Scriptwriting for each character. AI assisted video generation, editing, and post production. Sound design and pacing for short form formats.
What I'm proud of Using AI video tools not as a shortcut, but as a way to make character led advertising affordable at small brand scale, the kind of creative range that usually requires actors, locations, and production budgets. The series showed that hook variety, not just creative variety, is a real lever for short form performance.
