Front-end & UI Development for a Security Analytics Platform

A public safety company contracted Lynksen - an agency I co-founded - to enhance the UI design and execute the Front-end Development for a security analytics platform integrating computer vision and object recognition technologies.

As UI & Front-end Team Lead, I drove both design and engineering management while also leading the Next.js front-end development efforts. Collaborating closely with the Client’s back-end team, we seamlessly integrated new features and iteratively refined the product.

Redefined the User Experience, delivering a complete UI overhaul.

Developed and integrated 20+ core features and a new sub-application.

Implemented a shared design system with full adoption on front-end, accelerating the software release lifecycle (Figma → Storybook → npm → Next.js).

Refactored the app's front-end architecture and conducted a major framework upgrade, iteratively migrating the codebase while adopting new core features.

Implemented automated QA processes and quality standards for Front-end & UI Design, ensuring higher reliability and consistency.

Optimized maintainability by eliminating 8+ dependencies and reducing the codebase by -20%, without functionality loss.

This engagement resulted in a more scalable, efficient, and user-friendly platform, reinforcing the company’s capabilities in public safety analytics.
