Recently, I redesigned my colleague's electrical company website using Framer and Adobe Stock. Although there is nothing wrong with the company's current website, I figured I'd put my own creative spin on it.
The electricians and technicians who work at A-Z Electric do outstanding work, and I wanted to create a site that would convey that impression to customers. To accomplish this, I planned to include beautiful visuals of interior designs, electrical services, and commercial lighting.
History of A-Z Electric
I began by using an existing Framer template, which, in my opinion, is almost always the way to go. While I enjoy creating templates of my own from scratch, Framer offers a ton of amazing free templates for developer usage, so I figured I'd give one a try.
In total, I spent about 4 hours working on the site. During those 4 hours, I 1) planned the site layout, 2) found Stock images using Adobe Stock, 3) wrote content for each page based on the website's initial content, and 4) deployed the site.
I love platforms like Framer because they provide several tools to simplify the web development process. Though the learning curve for Framer is steeper compared to other website-building platforms such as Squarespace and Shopify, I'm truly impressed by the ability to manipulate even the smallest details with Framer.
