The Bells Will Ring Tomorrow: Tales of Village Life in Aegean Macedonia is a book of stories for children written by the late academic, author, and artist Alex Gigeroff. I was honoured to illustrate stories deriving from memories of the author's childhood. Each story reflects the distinct experience of growing up in Aegean Macedonia, as well as the character and resilience of the people there. This book was put together with the cooperation and research of several people in the Macedonian diaspora and is an important record of their common history and unique stories.
