BioSonic is an AI-driven platform

BioSonic is an AI-driven platform for analyzing bat acoustics used by research teams across Europe. I built the full web portal from scratch and transformed it into a high-performance, scalable system capable of handling multi-terabyte datasets.

My role covered full-stack development, infrastructure optimization, and performance engineering. I optimized Supabase RPCs and SQL queries, achieving 5× faster data retrieval and 240% faster file loading, while stabilizing AWS services to eliminate downtime. I also enhanced the SQS-based job distribution system for parallel data processing and implemented EC2 monitoring tools for better reliability and proactive scaling.

This project showcases my ability to own complex systems end-to-end, improve large-scale performance, and deliver production-ready solutions under tight deadlines, all while maintaining clear communication and client satisfaction.
