Octoboss: Service Hiring Mobile App

Octoboss is an on-demand service hiring platform designed to make it easier for customers to find trusted service providers nearby. The main problem was simple: people often struggle to find the right person for small or urgent tasks, compare options, and communicate quickly. Octoboss solves this by connecting customers with nearby service providers through a mobile app and a complete admin panel.

The app allows customers to sign up using phone or email, search for services, view available Octobosses near their location, and start a direct chat. For users who do not have time to search manually, they can simply post their issue along with a budget, and nearby Octobosses can reach out with offers.

For service providers, the app includes a separate flow where they can create an account, subscribe to a plan, manage their availability, and start receiving customer requests. This gives Octobosses a simple way to promote their services and get consistent work from local customers.

The admin panel was built to manage the full platform from one place, including users, service providers, subscriptions, service categories, requests, chats, and platform activity. This made it easier for the business team to monitor growth, manage quality, and keep the platform organized.

I worked on planning the product flow, structuring the user experience, and developing the mobile application with its admin panel. The focus was to keep the app easy to use for both customers and service providers while making sure the backend was scalable enough to support multiple service categories, locations, and subscription-based provider access.

Octoboss turned a common offline problem into a digital service marketplace where customers can quickly find help and providers can easily get work. The final product delivered a complete two-sided platform with customer app functionality, provider onboarding, location-based discovery, chat, task posting, and admin control.
