📐 Case Study: The 9m² Hybrid Bedroom (A Smart Space Solution) 💡 🎯 THE CHALLENGE: To design a functional and dignified bedroom for two occupants with opposite needs—an 84-year-old grandmother 👵 and a 13-year-old teenager 🧑‍💻—within a highly constrained 9m² (approx. 3.15m x 2.80m) room.

🧱 THE RESTRICTION: The layout was further complicated by a large, existing 2.08m wardrobe that the client loved and could not be moved, severely limiting placement options.

💡 THE SOLUTION: A fully custom-designed, L-shaped loft bed solution was engineered to maximize every square inch.

• 👵 For the Grandmother: The lower bed was positioned accessibly under the window, requiring no climbing.

• 🧑‍💻 For the Teenager: The loft bed was placed at a 90-degree angle, utilizing the vertical space above.

• ✨ The Smart Design: An integrated desk and mobile shelving unit (with castors) were designed under the loft, creating a private study station without sacrificing floor space.

This project is a case study in high-efficiency spatial planning and custom smart-furniture design to solve complex real-world problems.
