death’s prophecy
-
consume earth lovingly in life
for earth consumes you so gently in death.
feast of the elements.
dance and pray with fire
so flames can dance with you in death
swim and drink of water
to be held by graceful streams
breathe and taste of herb
to become bouqueted in death
for basil and rose to grow from your nutrient skin
breathe and whisper with the wind
for it to disperse you into oneness in death.
