About NIIT is an all-inclusive online learning platform that provides professional certification courses in diverse fields like data science, cloud computing, cybersecurity, digital marketing, and more. These courses are designed by industry experts with extensive experience and knowledge in their respective domains. Additionally, NIIT offers career support and placement assistance to all its learners to help them achieve their professional goals. Objective: NIIT aimed to increase relevant traffic to the site for their key programs like digital marketing, data science, software engineering, etc., and improve organic conversions.
Challenges: NIIT’s major competitors are UpGrad, Simplilearn, and Great learning, who are already ranking for high-volume keywords and have established themselves as go-to brands for anything related to online learning. Establishing NIIT as a brand was the key challenge.
Solution:
Created a lot of relevant content for the website and off-page activities.
Actively built over 100 quality backlinks to support content creation.
Designed city-specific pages for audiences in cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, etc.
Improved the website’s technical aspects by implementing schema markup on category, program, and city pages, adding HTML sitemaps for important pages, and updating meta tags for all pages.
Engaged in influencer marketing by inviting influencers to create content about their courses.
Result:
Improved the organic position from the 7th page to the 3rd page for main keywords like “digital marketing course,” "software engineering course," 'cyber security course," "data science course," etc.
Increased traffic by 200%.
Generated over 500 quality leads from a 4-month influencer marketing campaign.
