Debonair Prints is a black-owned business that was created by a group of friends. From humble beginnings working out of a garage, they expanded to a full-fledged print shop in warehouse that they call the Deboniar District, a multi-use creative space.
I reached out to Debonair Prints during the height of the Black Lives Matters movement to offer my services as a show of support. Their marketing manager, Jay, loved my portfolio so he asked if I could come out to photograph their process. The day I came out, I met Will one of the owners and we chatted about how Debonair Prints came to be and what it meant to him. Using that conversation as inspiration, I spent the entire morning taking photos that showcased their space, process, and attention to detail.
