I help gaming creators with video editing so they can spend more time ~creating~ (and maybe take a true break every now and then). 🌴

And it's so much fun! (But also so incredibly time consuming) If you've been editing for yourself in this way, you know this. You also probably have your own style that your audience has come to know and love and giving up control of that piece of the pie can be a little daunting.

Here's my personal take on the gaming genre, but my style =/= your style and that's ok! Think of it as a vision board of possibilities, not a template.

In this project, I focused on lots of zooms to guide the viewer to various areas of the screen and to emphasize any points I was making. Humor, frustration, confusion - I made it my mission to visualize all of these emotions in the edit, whether that's zooming into a particularly weird part of the UI and calling it out or making my face take up the screen to capture a reaction. All of this resulted audience retention of nearly 50% and 450+ new subscribers.

From managing screen recordings, overlaying facecam and making the whole thing come to life, the post-production process of a gaming video can be a huge time sink.
