On the day, the photo session happens at her home, so it's very limited in terms of background and property to use. When I asked Nia if she had any background to use, she said she had this white semi-transparent fabric and I used it for the background after confirming with her. Due to how low the light is for an indoor shoot, I set up an LED light to help with the lighting. So, we are working with 3 talents and once they changed into their designed outfits, I took their portraits in turn when their makeup done. Knowing that this is for makeup portfolio, I'm trying to highlight the work by making my shots mostly close as possible.
