Scaling a startup through content 📈

I started working as a Content Manager for the marketing agency Irenechan.co in October 2023. Over the past year, I have focused on overseeing the written content created by her writing team for one of the agency's main clients: Tactiq.

My role as Content Manager includes the following main tasks:

Content editing: I ensure the articles created by the writing team follow the client's content guidelines and are aligned with Tactiq's content goals.

Client communication: I guarantee the client is updated on the different stages of the content's development through Slack communication.

Blog publishing: I manage the article posting process by combining Airtable's management system and Webflow's content editor interface.

During the past year, the collaboration with Irenechan.co evolved to another type of service aside from my Content Manager role:

As a video editor, I worked on multiple videos for Tactiq's YouTube channel with the following workflow:

Irene Chan would send me the raw material (webcam clips and screen recording clips in mp4 format).

With Final Cut, I would trim the original video to match the original script shared by Tactiq and create the thumbnail using Canva.

The resulting video would be sent to Tactiq for final approval before uploading it to their YouTube channel.

The example below is one of the videos I edited for Tactiq (6k views) during the months that I collaborated as a video editor with IreneChan.co.

The articles published on Tactiq's blog require a customized banner image for each publication that aligns with the website's overall aesthetic. With Figma, I create the perfect images for the thumbnail of each article and the main preview.
