This capsule explored the theme of the “Drone”, a hypnotic tone used in devotional music. I liked the idea of evoking a singular point of focus or trance-like state via Dark Fashion. I explored the use of new fabrics such as PU-coated nylon, mesh, tailored suites, jewellery ideas and liminal androgynous looks 

This handmade overcoat is constructed out of Cotton Nylon, single-breasted, with two buttons on the front, two pockets at waist level and an internal breast pocket. The general styling of this jacket is oversized with overhanging sleeves and wide shoulders but can be tailored to your exact measurements to the fit you require.

Presenting the Arahant Drone Tunic… an Avant Garde statement piece that plays with shadow, light and form. It is constructed out of layered PU-coated Faux leather and Mesh cotton so it is ultimately breathable whilst still nodding to our signature Dark Fashion sentiments.

The Shiv Shard Pendant is a totem artefact which draws influence from the Shiva Lingam, a symbol of Shiva and male generative power.

I’ve been drawn to the Hindu God Shiva and the sect devoted to him, the Aghoris, who smear cremation ash from the charnel grounds over their bodies as a sign of impermanence and a meditation on death itself. The ash used in the images is from the rice fields of my beloved Tabanan, Bali. After the crops are harvested the roots and stems are burnt to return the nutrients back to the earth, a beautiful meditation on the cycle of life and death that we are all part of.
