Financial Analysis of Fauji Fertilizer Company

During my sophomore year at the Institute of Business Administration, I had the privilege of working under the guidance of Professor Tahira Jafferi on a challenging IBF project I had an enriching experience working on our term project. Our focus was on conducting a comprehensive financial analysis of the Fertilizer Industry of Pakistan. We were assigned to analyze Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited my team and I delved deep into calculating and evaluating its financial ratios, juxtaposing them with competitors Pak Arab Fertilizers Limited, Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited, Engro Fertilizers Limited and Agritech Limited (Formerly Pak-American Fertilizers) Utilizing Microsoft Excel, we performed detailed horizontal and vertical analysis, refining our analytical skills significantly. This project served as a crucial stepping stone in shaping my career trajectory, particularly as I aim to pursue a path as a Financial Analyst. I am grateful for the invaluable learning experience gained alongside my dedicated team members: Muhammad Bilal, Fouzan Tanveer,hamza babar and our professor Tahira Jaffery, TA Manav Kumar for their unwavering guidance and support throughout the course. I eagerly anticipate further learning opportunities with them in future courses!
