How I ranked my article at Google's featured snippet (P0)

You may know it as P0, featured snippet or rank zero. It refers to the first Google search result placed above organic SEO listings.

This feature directly answers searchers’ questions, without needing to click the search result link.

When I worked at Navita, a SaaS B2B Brazilian company, we had our SEO strategy in place. That means we understood the impact of ranking at the top of search results on our inbound results.

My main role was to choose the next keywords and develop articles, working on writing, planning and link building. The company was focused on a solution for corporate phones, that could help IT managers to comply with cybersecurity norms.

Many of my articles were placed at Google's first page for highly competitive words related to the business, such as "Telecom", "Mobilidade Corporativa" and "Celular Corporativo".

The P0 was achieved for "Celular Corporativo" — or corporate phone, a very strategic niche word for our persona.

This articles was written in 2020 and it maintains itself at the featured snippet since then, as a good evergreen content case.
