My Agropadi

Reimagining Nigeria's Agricultural Digital Presence
ROLE: UI/UX Designer · Web Designer · Art Director CLIENT: MyAgropadi YEAR: 2024 TYPE: Website Redesign TOOLS: Figma · Claude AI · Lovable

[overview]

The Brief

MyAgropadi is a Nigerian agritech company connecting farmers to international markets, providing land and infrastructure, training, and scholarship support. When I came on board, the website existed but failed to communicate the organisation's ambition, credibility, or scale. The redesign brief was clear — strip back the noise, elevate the brand, and build a digital presence that matched the real-world impact MyAgropadi was already making. Farmers, buyers, and international partners all visit the same site; the redesign had to speak to all three audiences without confusing any of them.

[the problem]

"A website that didn't match the mission. The old design undersold an organisation doing genuinely important work."

MyAgropadi supports hundreds of farmers, runs scholarship programmes with universities, and exports ginger, sesame seeds, and cashew across international markets. None of this was legible from the previous website. The navigation was cluttered, the hierarchy unclear, and the brand identity inconsistent. International buyers and partners who visited the site couldn't immediately understand what Agropadi was or why it mattered. The redesign needed to do what the organisation was already doing — communicate trust, scale, and purpose at a glance.

[what i designed]

One Platform. Built for Agriculture.

01 Homepage Redesign
A bold, mission-led hero section that immediately communicates Agropadi's scope and credibility to farmers, buyers, and international partners.
02 Services Architecture
Restructured the four core services — Marketplace, Empowerment, Training, and Scholarship — into a clear, scannable layout with distinct visual identity per section.
03 Partner & Credibility Section
Designed a partner logo strip and institutional trust signals that reflect Agropadi's real-world partnerships including the Bank of Agriculture and Bank of Industry.
04 Global Export Page
A dedicated section communicating Agropadi's certified exporter status and key export products — ginger, sesame seeds, and cashew — for international buyer confidence.
05 Dashboard & Digital Platform Section
Highlighted the Farm Management Dashboard as a product feature, designed to attract tech-savvy farmers and platform partners.

"Redesign isn't just visual polish — it's translation. The job is to make what's already true finally visible." — Alabi Faisal, Designer

The Result

The redesigned MyAgropadi website gave the organisation a digital presence that finally matched its real-world ambition. Each audience — farmers, buyers, and institutional partners — now lands on a site that speaks directly to them. The services architecture makes it easy to navigate from the homepage to marketplace, empowerment, scholarship, or export pages without confusion. The global export section now serves as a credible entry point for international buyers from the UK and Europe. Most importantly, the redesign reframed MyAgropadi not just as a local agri-support organisation, but as an internationally connected agritech platform doing significant work across the agricultural value chain.
