Deltrain is a key reference in the people movers industry at international level and has been a manufacturer of tourist trains in Portugal since 1997. The project began when the company needed to make the transition to electric trains and consequently make them lighter. The challenge involved giving them a new look while always keeping in mind the users needs.

Brainstorming
Starting from the inside out responding to people's needs
In order to make the user experience as comfortable as possible, it was important to start from the inside out. Therefore, these seats were designed to allow four different layouts according to the customer’s needs while also keeping ergonomic measurements.
Different Possible Layouts
One of the main goals was to reduce the number of doors and consequently the number of frames in order to not only make the train lighter but also eliminate visual barriers.
Flow
The Flow concept was designed to distinguish itself from the preconceived idea of trains, created from organic and contemporary lines, it provides a panoramic view that enables the connection between the interior and exterior.
