Developmental Editing for Victorian-Era Romantasy

Working to expand and elaborate on character motivation and narrative structure for a fantasy series focused on a courting-style romance.

Work included:

Reading up to the most recent installment of the story

Providing feedback on what was already written

At author's request, providing in-depth detail about where the author could expand on character's inner voice and show more the character's motivation.

Provide multiple examples of how language could be used to show more of the surrounding scenery of the story, and give hints to what is happening when other characters interact with the main character.

Research courting rules of the Victorian Era and help author determine how to apply, and play around with, how they would appear in a fantasy setting
