Gradely App: Impacting Students Positively

•Brief: Gradely is an online learning platform paving the way towards positive impactful student discipline through social-emotional learning (SEL) integration. •Objectives: Gradely sought to find if parents and caregivers face any real problems in the social-emotional learning space and if there are, to create a solution (in the form of a mobile app) to resolve them. As well as transform the in-person learning experience into a 100% digital experience that can be accessed by students at a lower cost. •Role: I created a design and prototypes for a judgment-free SEL learning app. The app’s main features include a personalized learning plan, interactive learning, judgment-free messaging and articles on the latest SEL research. •Process - Empathize with users to understand their needs, frustrations, and aspirations. - Define the user from the insights collected in the research phase - Ideation phase to find alternative solutions that match user aspirations. - Wireframe, Prototype the solution, make usability test with users and iterate on the prototype. - Deliver high-fidelity designs to developers & a design system.
