Interactive Data Visualization Dashboard for Stakeholders

In this project, I undertook a comprehensive analysis of global data-related jobs and their corresponding salaries using Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and SQL. The aim was to gain deep insights into the industry, providing stakeholders with valuable information and facilitating data-driven decision-making.

To begin, I utilized SQL to extract and transform data from various sources, including job portals, industry reports, and salary databases. By crafting SQL queries, I obtained extensive datasets encompassing job titles, job descriptions, locations, required skills, years of experience, and salary information.

Next, I imported the extracted data into Microsoft Excel to perform data cleansing, manipulation, and aggregation. Excel's powerful functionalities enabled me to clean and structure the data, calculate job and salary statistics, and create meaningful visualizations. Using pivot tables, charts, and conditional formatting, I analyzed factors such as salary ranges, distribution by job roles, skill requirements, and geographical trends.

Additionally, I employed Microsoft Power BI to build interactive and intuitive dashboards and reports. Power BI allowed for the integration of data from multiple sources, creating a unified view of the analysis. The interactive features, including drill-downs, filters, and slicers, enabled stakeholders to explore the data from various angles, uncovering insights on job demand, salary competitiveness, and emerging trends.

Through this project, the combined power of Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and SQL provided a robust framework for analyzing global data-related jobs and salaries. The interactive nature of the analysis empowered stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding talent acquisition, salary benchmarking, and resource allocation, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of the industry.
