Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Communication Analyst I worked on the following:

  • Copywriting Creation: Daily creation of compelling copy for client campaigns and the company's own social media posts.
    • Copywriting, social media management and content curation for Support Driven's:
      • Slack (Community of 10000+ members), Slack Community Flyer, Weekly Newsletter, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Some of the main tools used:
    • Canva
    • Slack
    • ClickUp
    • Social Bee
    • Email Octupos
    • Squarespace
  • Slack Community: Responsible for crafting the weekly Community Newsletter and announcements based on the ClickUp campaign schedule.
  • Social Media Management: Executed two daily posts for LinkedIn and Twitter, maintaining a consistent online presence.
  • Content Curation: Compiled and organized content for the weekly Newsletter and Slack Community Flyer. Curated content from Slack, sought community members' permission to share their posts/photos, incorporated ongoing campaigns, and ensured the inclusion of Bitly links for tracking click-through rates.
    • Weekly Newsletter Creation: Compiled the weekly Community Newsletter, including the use of Email Octopus with HTML initially and later transitioning to Squarespace Newsletter builder.
    • Weekly Slack Community Flyer: Based on the weekly Newsletter, I would then curate content for the weekly flyer and also would include ongoing community events and client campaigns.
  • Workflow Management: Utilized ClickUp for internal processes, such as viewing the monthly/weekly content strategy, client campaigns, and tracking which links and social media posts were assigned to me for creating a unique copy for each platform and post.
  • Visual Content Creation: When needed, designed visuals using Canva to complement written content.
  • Post Scheduling: Employed SocialBee for scheduling posts after receiving approval from the marketing team lead.
  • Resource Reference: Referred to Google Drive for reviewing SD brand guidelines and client-specific guidelines for each campaign. Used Google Docs for creating copywriting drafts before sending them for approval.
  • Slack Integration: Utilized Slack to create the weekly Slack Community Flyer, I used JSON.
  • Campaign Analysis: At the end of each campaign, generated reports to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement.
