Travel Itinerary Onboarding

Travel Itinerary Onboarding is a mobile onboarding experience designed for a trip planning platform. The objective was to create a welcoming first-time user experience that introduces the product, highlights its core value, and encourages users to begin planning their journey.

The Problem
 Many travel apps overwhelm users with features before clearly explaining their value. During onboarding, users need to quickly understand what the product does, how it helps them, and why they should continue using it. Poor onboarding can lead to confusion and early drop-off. Research and community discussions around travel planning frequently highlight the challenge of organizing trips across multiple tools and sources of information.

The Solution
 I designed a streamlined onboarding flow that introduces the platform through concise messaging, engaging visuals, and clear progression between screens. The experience focuses on communicating benefits early, reducing cognitive load, and helping users transition smoothly into the core product experience.
