LinkedIn Edited Viral Video Breakdown

Everyone knows it’s easier to go viral on Instagram and TikTok. But LinkedIn?That’s a whole different game.
Why? Because it’s a professional platform, and cracking the code here takes more than trendy music and flashy transitions.
But guess what? I found the formula. Or better yet, the editing styles those actually work on LinkedIn.

Let me share an example.

One of my clients specifically asked me to use the same editing style I showcased in my other portfolio video. I delivered exactly that, and within just 1–2 days of posting, the video went viral on his LinkedIn. It became his most liked (45+) and most commented (20+) video ever.

So why did it blow up?

Simple. I used what I call a cinematic storytelling style.
Instead of boring, overused stock footage (which is now everywhere thanks to AI), I used iconic clips from movies and web series. These immediately grab attention and spark curiosity.
In fact, in the comments, people even mentioned the Stranger Things clip I used. That’s proof the style not only caught their eye but also made them engage.

And why should you trust my advice?

I’ve got over 700 real, genuine followers on LinkedIn. No bots. No fluff. I don’t even post that often. Just before-and-afters of my edits and some behind-the-scenes.
Still, many of my personal videos went viral too. You can check it out in my portfolio. So what are you waiting for? Drop me a message today!
