The Brovdi Foundation was established with the aim of supporting young artists and advancing the Ukrainian school of painting. The foundation has significantly expanded and is adding cultural and educational programs to its set of ongoing art activities. The design objective was to give the foundation a modern identity that has a simple, confident, and lasting appeal — a design ethos that honors tradition while embracing the future.

The strategic inspiration behind the new branding is rooted in the imperative to forge connections across time, culture, and generations while also sharing and preserving the rich legacy of Ukrainian art for future generations.

The design language showcases the Brovdi Foundation’s adherence to the art they promote. The black bar serves as a prominent element of the brand’s new identity, offering a versatile frame for various content they wish to display. The openness of the design allows the foundation the flexibility to incorporate all their art and artists.

The identity reflects the main goal of the foundation to communicate a distinctive blend of old and new in an inviting and contemporary way, to play off artistic roots and highlights Brovdi foundation as a forward-thinking creative institution. Tasteful and modest, the identity has a strong visual impact by placing the art at the core.
