Exmet, Estonia's top enterprise with €11.7B revenue, faced challenges with their dev team and marketing tools. They had a very poor foundation for digital marketing, broken existing websites with irrelevant info to business at the date, and generally could not attract new customers. Not to speak about performance measurement in any area.
I helped them consult, lay out strategy, redesign all 5 websites in five different sub-service categories, and develop all the websites. What made the design part interesting was their ask of not to design website in a classical way where navigation would be on the top. They wanted it on the side or somewhere else to stand from the crowd.
We also established a very good performance tracking stack with Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Hotjar. Also configured custom dashboards to track performance.
One of the biggest success was to introduced innovative tools like product calculators, that sales team used internally, and making them external facing to the customers.
This reduced query resolution time, boosted sales efficiency by 78%, minimized email back-and-forth, and improved customer satisfaction. We were able to bring on 28K new visitors on the launch month.
Exmet's new site caught interest from a major Spanish company in the same field, leading to partnership discussions.
This project cost around $90K for
5 pages;
custom development;
all pages in 5 languages;
consulation, design, development, iterations;
analytics and tagging
+ much more.
We are still working together and been doing that for past 3 years.
