AI Music Video Production for “Wild Thing” by The Troggs

I produced a full-length 2:45 AI music video for One Media IP Group, built around The Troggs’ rerecorded version of “Wild Thing.” I led the creative direction, character development, AI video production, rhythm-based editing, and final post-production.

Project Overview

The goal was to create a complete performance-driven music video without a conventional physical shoot. The production needed a recognizable lead performer, a coherent band environment, enough shot variety to sustain the full track, and pacing that followed the energy of the music.
Rather than forcing a complex narrative onto the song, I developed a focused visual concept built around live-performance energy, cinematic framing, expressive movement, and recurring visual motifs.

Creative Direction and Pre-Production

I analyzed the track structure, mapped verses, choruses, and instrumental passages, and planned the visual progression across the full runtime. This included defining the lead performer, supporting musicians, stage environment, key shot types, and the moments where visual repetition could work as an intentional callback.

Character Development

The lead performer needed to remain recognizable across independently generated shots, so I created a dedicated character sheet to establish facial identity, styling, costume, and performance attitude.

AI Video Production

I generated and refined a range of wide, medium, and close performance shots, testing multiple camera angles, movements, and variations. Each shot was selected for performer consistency, facial stability, believable movement, composition, musical performance, and compatibility with the surrounding edit.
Generations that introduced visible identity changes, unstable faces, weak motion, or inconsistent staging were replaced before the final edit.

Editing and Music Synchronization

The final video was assembled in Final Cut Pro with the supplied master track as the structural foundation. Shot changes were timed to musical accents, verses, choruses, and instrumental sections. I balanced wide shots, medium performance coverage, close-ups, and supporting-musician cutaways while maintaining continuity between independently generated clips.
Repeated musical sections were treated as deliberate visual callbacks rather than simple duplication, helping the video stay coherent while preserving momentum.

Final Result

The completed deliverable was a polished 2:45 master music video prepared for the One Media catalogue. The project demonstrates a full AI-video workflow from visual concept and character development through generation, selection, music-led editing, and final post-production—delivered without a conventional shoot.
