Pinterest Content Design & Strategy

Alongside building full brand identities, I also design on-brand Pinterest content that helps clients grow their traffic, visibility, and audience. The designs I’ve shared here are samples from different clients and niches, which shows how I adapt style, tone, and visuals depending on what each brand needs.

Project Scope

For each project, my goal was to create pins that were not only aesthetic but also purposeful. Here’s how:
• Driving Traffic Created pins like “Why Going Viral Isn’t the Goal” and “Website in a Week,” specifically designed to get clicks back to blog posts, lead magnets, or service pages.
• Keeping Everything On-Brand Matched each brand’s look and feel, for example, deep rich tones for skincare content, and clean, minimal layouts for home/interior brands. This helps each client show up consistently across their platforms.
• Lead Magnet Promotion Designed pins that make free resources feel valuable and enticing, like “Lead Magnet Ideas to Grow Your Email List” or the “5 Questions to Ask Yourself…” workbook. These help clients grow their email lists much faster.
• Showcasing Products & Services Created pins that highlight what makes a client’s offer stand out, whether it’s beauty products, creative services, or educational content.
• Template Design Built customizable templates that clients can reuse, so they can keep posting high-quality pins without needing a designer every time.

My Design Approach

Across all Pinterest projects, I focus on a few core principles:
• Easy to Scan Clear, bold titles and high contrast so the main message stands out instantly in the Pinterest feed.
• Thoughtful Imagery Aspirational photos and textures that match the brand vibe and help communicate the topic at a glance.
• Format Variety A mix of layouts: Standard pins, infographic-style, product mockups, and text-focused pins, to keep the content fresh and reach different parts of Pinterest’s algorithm.
